Firearms Renewal Instructions
The retiree downloads all of the needed forms from the Website. Take no paperwork to the range. All paperwork comes to the RCU either by mail or in person. The paperwork (application data sheet, and three affidavit's) should be completed (by the retiree) and mailed or dropped off in the RCU 2 to 4 weeks before the retiree actually wants to qualify at the pistol range. When the retiree qualifies at the range, range personnel will complete the qualification form and fax it to the RCU office to be mated with the renewal application paperwork. The retiree after qualifying then reports the RCU office for a photo (You must be in coat and tie) , and receives his new gun permit ID (provided the paperwork was in the RCU office before qualifying and has been processed).
