Orville A. Williams HPROA Member, who retired from the Department on March 29, 1991, after serving over thirty-two (32) years, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010.  At the time of his retirement, he was assigned to the Southwest Division.  He joined the Department on December 29, 1958, entering Police Academy Class No. 23.  He is survived by his wife, Mildred M. Williams of Sugar Land, Texas, a daughter, Pamela W. Ahlberg and a son, Cliff Williams.   The body is entrusted with Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B. F. Terry Boulevard, Rosenberg, Texas, pubic service number 281-341-8800.  <Click here for a direct link to Orville Williams Obituary and Guest Book as shown on their website>     Visitation for family and friends will be held at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, beginning on Saturday, June 12, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at 2:00 p.m.   Burial will be held at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery, 3900 B. F. Terry Boulevard, Rosenberg, Texas.
